was manziel supposed to get himself helicopter'd and promptly protocoled on a meaningless play in a game that was lost by the end of the 3rd quarter? I don't understand why he's a coward for sliding in the face of about 4 defensive players all aiming for a helmet spear kill shot on him. Had he gone in helmet first on that play we'd be down to 1 quarterback and we'd all be pissing about what a moron he is for putting himself out like that for no fucking reason.

yeah i'm calling you crazy. It's the wrong call. Tom Brady doesn't go head first in a meaningless game, you know that. Brady's not a dumbass. Brady does that play when it necessary, not when the game is already over. Brady makes that play in the playoffs and/or SB, of course....so probably would JM. I actually commend him for being smart there. If he takes that shot and goes down, then what?

Tom Brady doesn't run at all. He is a QB and knows his job is to THROW the football.

McCown has the injuries but is a great QB when healthy. Manziel just can't keep his off the field incidents either to a minimum or to staying out of trouble.

McCown donated enough points to the Rams to win (fumble). The rest of the offense playd like crap granted.
Usf- we scored SIX points on offense today and the offense gave up 10 in the first quarter. Last week, our defense for a zillion ints in critical spots and kept handing the game on a platter to the offense to win, and they couldn't....
Maybe in the Sam Diego game the offense was good and defense terrible, but the last two games it has been other way around. Big-time....

Archie Manning is on nobody's great quarterback list. Ever. If so you don't have a very high expectation of "Great Quarterback" Good is enough for you to label it great and that's probably why you don't mind the browns sucking for the better part of 20 years.
