Manziel was awful last year, now he looks better..

For the love of all that's holy: Manziel is not remotely good.

He does not "look better" - he was simply given a longer audition. And he's shown why he's not a starter.

There are not praises to go 'round.. there's blame. Because he sucks. And that's being objective.

Hint: If you actually think he doesn't suck, you get to explain why the linked article doesn't matter.... or your post is fanboi BS.

What does PFF say about it?

I think he sucks just as much as a rookie should suck only 5 full games into their career.

I didn't say he doesn't suck. I said he looks better, because that is objectively true.

That article has been debated on here many times. It was an awful performance and it brought forth many concerns.

However, if you look at the All-22 from the Steelers game, you'd find that he had a better grasp of the offense and had fixed some of the mistakes that were shown in the linked article. It wasn't a perfect performance against Pittsburgh either, but it was better than against Cincinnati. He was buying into the offense, hitting open receivers, and not pressing for portions of the game - exactly what you'd expect from someone who is learning.

I don't want to proclaim him a franchise savior. All I want to see is if his next performance is better than his last.

We've seen what Johnny Manziel the drunk can do - that was 2015. I want to see what this supposed "new" Manziel is about.

Mike Pettine Worried Bengals Gave Rest Of League Blueprint To Beat Browns

CLEVELAND—Following a 37-3 loss that saw his team outperformed in nearly every phase of the game, Cleveland head coach Mike Pettine admitted his growing concern Wednesday that the Cincinnati Bengals may have given the rest of the league the blueprint for beating the Browns. "You know, Cincinnati completely shut down our offense and ran all over our defense, and now I’m worried that other teams are going to be able to study exactly how they did it," Pettine told reporters, adding that he fears Sunday’s loss may have exposed some of the key weaknesses of his 2-10 team. "The Bengals totally figured us out. Any team that wants to know how to establish a passing rhythm against us or get to our quarterback will be able to figure it out just by watching the game tape from last week. It’s definitely a big problem moving forward." Pettine went on to express some confidence that even if the Browns’ upcoming opponents attempt to recreate the Bengals’ game plan, most teams will hopefully lack the personnel to slow down their 32nd-ranked run game.

I think this shows just how clueless he apparently is.

Unstated is: "and we are too dumb to make adjustments to anything the opponent may do".

Except, of course, this quote seemed perfectly plausible to have come from the man.

And besides....it couldn't be satire.....because it wasn't printed in Pink

  • yep the difference between a 'private accordion concert' and sold out 'radio city music hall accordion concert' must be light years apart.

shit i doubt you could get 200 drunk ukis into one place to listen to that 'eclectic' shit. fans screaming out "the keishka song!!!!" for an encore LOL.

  • best 23 seconds ever.....right here.... 😉

  • Clearly MKC does not know how to question JM to get us answers. Next presser with JM we send in West Side Steve with the Accordion & get all the BS & cover up out there 😮

  • Petine has no say in what goes on there I would imagine like shannahan he can't wait to get the fuck out of Cleveland away from that fucking Retard farmer

  • I would like to see Pettine stay another year. If he thinks the players are giving it all and if he does see something then.......... We only know what we see, we have no idea what is going on in the locker room or sideline. I do see a big change coming this off season but I don't see us changing coaches.
