bump this.

I'm all for trading down, but not getting trade raped so we can sign a mediocre TE.

@ithika said: No he doesnt, he's not nearly fast enough. He is however a prototypical NT in the 3-4 but we already have that in Rubin and we know hes good at it. Winn fits a DE in the 3-4 perfect and he played that positon at Boise. Mark my workds we're gonaa run a hybrid D. its done alot these days, Carolina runs it, Arizona runs it, Bmore runs it, Denver, NE, Jets. thats just the teams i can think of. Panther's D sucks. That's the main reason why they haven't won more games.

Was thinking that we might go after a big name WR this offseason, someone who will really make the young crew we have come along

Hardesty was sweet at Tennessee, was like AI in pads shaking people out of their shoes.

@brownfish said: That's right i'm giving away my beloved 1968 snow cruiser to the individual who predicts the final score and the TOTAL amount of yards Josh Cooper gains in the game. This beauty only has 200km and nearly any sign of rust i mean paint on it...unfortunetly our brutal winters are no more due to global warming and i need to give her a good home. The best thing about her is that she loves leaded gasoline. If i win going to donate it to slavation army on Prospect good luck and let it snow!!! 28-30 Browns Cooper 7 total yards on 3 passes Yes, scores have to be in before the game starts 1 PM 10-14 41-14 brownies. cooper gets 5 catches for 43 yards

@browns-milf said: Why do the flip? He is going to get himself hurt. Act like you been there before. Except he hasn't and a lot of people do that. (See D'Qwell Jackson last week) You have to be flat out stupid to get yourself hurt doing that...

The worst part about it wasnt even the missed catch. The guy runs buy both the DE and OLB blitzing about to smear your QB and your the hot route on the play and you dont even look for it?

Pat...ok, put Owen on the practice squad for a game call up Smelley and if Smelley doesn't catch the ball better than Owen and if Trent doesn't run for at least 99 yards then fine I lose and will donate 25k to the charity of your choice. If Smelley catches and blocks better than Owen then I will still put 25k into the charity of your choice...it's a win win Pat...do the right thing Pat put Smelley in and let Owen go, what do you have to lose?

@the-cysko-kid said: Nevermind. Weeden is even worse. Much much worse LOL That Punter for the Eagles has been BOOOOOMING them Weeden to Bejamin for the TD

Dude can hit a windshield of a car with a beer bottle from 50 yards away. We don't need a QB with his last name tattooed across his back.

It has more to do with the position he plays than his age. QBs drafted in the later first always believe they deserve more than other positions, and to some extent that is true. Remember when Quinn held out... dumbest mistake of his career, or lack thereof Anyway, he'll get 3 years guaranteed and part of his 4th year salary guaranteed. He'll have to still be on the team to make the last million probably.

Not sure how many more days they are out in LA but we need fences to be painted, homes to be built and my damn lawn to be mowed!! Trent * Weedey in their UNIFORMS TRENT LOOKS LIKE A MONSTER IN HIS PADS

Worthless thread

@miktoxic said: i guess your opinion only applies to the steelers? i could have swore you've posted how great the browns rookies are going to be and improve the team. just sayin. hence the reply...irony...which you dont apparently understand. am i to accept that homo can claim their OL completely fixed before pads are put on, while at the same time denigrating us for being excited about our new offensive skill positions? how is he not guilty of the same which he busts on us for? are you smarter than a fifth grader? seriously....you must be fucking Retarded. why is it that people must point out the painfully obvious hypocritical statements made constantly on this site? the circle of stupid keeps going around, and its the same shit over and over again. your current outlook is sad...so very sad. you want more to be right about all this than you want the browns to win. "im taking all your names down and im gonna throw it back in your faces if youre wrong". GTFO with that childish, grade-school bullshit mik. its so very sad you cant handle yourself more akin to your age. what if you're wrong? pardon those of us that thinks taking back to back top 10 CB's is a fucking waste....cause we know that was the problem last year. at one point, i respected your football acumen. now youve recessed to a cry-baby....all because you didn't get your way. im sure youre proud. edit: and please find any post of me gushing over any one of our picks. i purposefully do not post absolutels, cause I, unlike most everyone else, recognize my football intelligence is limited.

@harry-buffalo said: None of our rookies have signed yet, but our rookie mini camp also isn't until next weekend. All of the drafted rookies have picked out their numbers though. TR #33, BW #3, Schwartz #72, Hughes #93, Benjamin #80, Johnson #50, Miller #63, Acho #59, Winn #79, Wade #26, and Smelley... #47. What number did our former Pro Bowl LB from the 80s Mike Johnson wear? I don't think it was 50. I think Eddie Johnson wore that number.

@feartheroo said: Very disappointed, I just don't get why the Browns are so against drafting/signing wide receivers. We can only address a limited number of positions in the draft.

Ill go 9, from what i got out of Heckert and Shurmer's presser Thurs. after the 1st RD. it sure as hell sounds like Weedons their guy going into week 1. The writings on the wall for Mr. McCoy. Im keepin my fingers crossed!
