He would say we don't run an "Offensive Offense" which I had heard him say on several occasions... When describing the Browns offense in past years..  That was one of the things that drove a wedge between him and Belicheck.

Great article about a great man from his son. Good find Mike.

Interesting article focusing on our GM's use of one-year deals including one benefit that I had not heard about... ... it sets up the Browns to cash in on compensatory picks, should any of these newcomers leave after the season. In the new collective bargaining agreement, free agents who sign one-year deals that still make at least $1.75 million factor into the gains in the losses in the compensatory formula. Not so coincidentally, of all the free agents the Browns have secured via one-year deals, only returner JoJo Natson signed for less than the $1.75 million threshold. https://www.espn.com/blog/cleveland-browns/post/_/id/27629/browns-banking-one-year-deals-will-pay-off-for-defense-now-and-later

@canton-mike said: Yep! Humble & lets his actions do the talkin'!! Mike He comes from very humble beginnings and is tied in with a deeply Christian family who practice others first. Reminds me of the way Gale Sayers was. Great player, very humble and always quiet about his own accomplishments. If you never read his book, "I Am Third", I highly recommend it. Our Nick is another Gale.?

EDIT: They aren't dummies. They promised not to tell on gramp so they could continue their brownie supply on later gramp watch nights. Hey smart kids!   And all wound up when mommy and daddy get to put them in bed when they go home.

@tour2ma said: Christ! JFF looks like he's 40! lol.... Good one, Htown... Heavy partying will  do that to you.

Sorry for the late offer, but I can't make it tomorrow & I have NEVER let my seats go unused. They are aisle seats in section 536, row 19, seats 25 & 26. Upper, decent seats. I like 'em & you can see the entire field. Granted, it's only an exhibition game, but I'm hoping someone can use them, especially someone whose budget may not stretch for a game. If interested, please shoot me a PM so I can transfer the tickets ASAP. Mike

@calfoxwc said: They are great kids, Mike, and Abbi is so athletic, it's obvious she takes after your better half and your daughter !? Maybe my daughter (and I), but if she took after my better half, she wouldn't have ANY athleticism!  Mike

Freddie's https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/video/freddie-kitchens-odell-is-here-to-make-plays Baker's  https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/video/baker-mayfield-i-expect-to-be-the-guy-that-everyone-can-count-on Old culture...media controlled Pressers...no more!!! Freddie & Baker saw to that. You just have to love these guys. Freddie certainly doesn't knuckle under to the media & he singled Grossi out today. I LMAO! Mike

The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one NEURON , 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. It is also known in some scientific circles as Bureaucratium.   Fixed it for ya Mike.?

If his story is so good we should name him King of Westeros....Or America

One of the reasons I am so excited in having Freddie Kitchens as HC is his honesty & the TRUST he will have from his players. This, IMO, was shown best from the 17:35 mark to the 18:02 mark. He knows how to keep the media at arm's length yet on "his side". Freddie is (and will continue to be) SPECIAL! Mike

@canton-dawg said: Why not JFF? Go see my other post above on why Garrett and not JFF.

@lbc-mike said: looks like he has totally bought into the browns. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/odell_beckham_jr_sporting_jim_brown_throwback_at_nba_finals/s1_12680_29269019 Warriors, unless you can pull off a Cavs miracle, you're done... Only team in NBA history to come back from down 1-3 in the Finals and win three straight.

And think about this...the giants record  if im not mistaken  is worse than the prior year. Baker took us from 0-16 to a legit sniff at the playoffs. Its not even close the respective impact.

Like the DL, I'm glad they understand the major fix that was needed to get us playoff bound.
