I believe there are kids at Frenso State and at San Diego State who bear watching. Can't remember their names. The big disappointment for me in college football is Ryan Driscoll of Florida. He was the player of the year in high school football the other year and people thought he was going to be great. But what a flop he has been! Not sure if it's bad coaching, or what. That florida coaching staff is suspect in my view.

Id love to grab Minnifield with are second but it looks like hes being pushed into the first as of now if thats the case id grab him with are 2nd first rounder...I think RG3 will be a top 5 pick and will go before Barkley id love to see him in Cleveland but it dosent look like we will go that route,i was really high on AJ Green last year and feel the same with Blackmon i feel we will probaly miss out on both of them. We should try to let Hillis get another year and use are pick in a different direction instead of Richardson RBs are easy to find in the later Rounds i wouldnt mind if we went RB an took Lamar Miller from the U Miami in the second hes a great player in his own right.

My thoughts: A. Some here are negative about Jeffreys, but I have seen several talent reports that have him rated above both Floyd and Blackmon. Others do not. So who really knows. I do know that the Browns need speed at WR. B. Why does Matt Barkley have, to me, Matt Leinert, part Deux, written all over him? People think that just because a QB went to USC that they are going to be an NFL superstar. Truly, who was the last USC superstar QB? Leinert is a bust. Carson Palmer has actually been less than expected, and Mark Sanchez would not be considered worth spit hardly if he didn't play in NYC and have a great Jets defense to support him C. I see you have the So. Caro. OLB being taken with the Browns second pick. I believe that Heckert does like Carolina players....North Carolina players. If that pick is anywhere in the 14-20 range I think he may go more for Zack Brown than the SC guy. D. But my real feelings about that second selection in the first round is this: Chase Minnifield could be the Frank Minnifield to Joe Haden's Hanford Dixon. (Then maybe the whole "Dawg defense" would perhaps have some current relevence. The Browns need a replacement for Sheldon Brown, and the choice of Minniefield, while somewhat sentimental, is not just that. The Browns can use a young talent like that. Could you see a DB of Haden, TJ Ward, and Chase Minniefield? WOOF, WOOF (though, admittedly, an OLB is more essential)

Having two lock down corners would further solidify our defense. Other CBs to look at are Kirkpatrick out of 'Bama and Jenkins out of North Alabama by ways of University of Florida (character issues make him a risk but is a lock down corner). Depending on how our WRs play this year which so far has been decent. MoMass has the nice TD vs the Dolphins and Little has shown signs of being a force to be reckoned with. I wouldn't be mad at all if we got Blackmon from Ok State or Floyd from Notre Dame. Hit the nail right on the head man. Brown is an elite athlete that has an unreal burst when he blitzes. I know Jauron is not the most creative DC and his blitzes are usually double A-gap, or OLB blitzes - so a guy like Brown would be perfect for his defense. If one of the top WRs were available when the Browns picked, that would have been the pick there. Also, just as an FYI, I'm going to update this mock draft every 4 weeks. Fwiw, Dick Jauron does like to get his MLB early in the draft. In Chicago he had Urlacher and in Buffalo he drafted Posluszny in the 2nd
