When it comes down to it, do you put the game in the hands of your strongest assets, or the weakest?
Stefanski outsmarted himself.

Took long enough...better late than never I guess.
As has been mentioned before, his kicks look terrible even when he makes them. I see no logical justification for placing our faith in his ability. If we were a team that's building to win in the future, maybe, but we have a fairly small window to get this done.
Glad we didn't end up going to this game...what a disappointment....
Exactly. I don't know how we chose FatBoy as head coach over Williams. Oh wait, I know how...we let a child run the team.
I'm crazy thinking of taking my teenage boys to this game (It's on the way to visit in-laws in London, Ontario). Looking at the brutal, sub-arctic weather on Saturday with 50mph wind gusts and trying to figure out the best chances of not dying at the game. Are club level seats any better than 100's sections? Any seating with outdoor heaters? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Each year during preseason, we see players who ball on the field and play lights out like Josh Dobbs, John Kelly, Wims, and Bradley. These players almost always get waived in favor of "established" players like Schwartz and Brissett, who basically have done and shown nothing. What the hell more do coaches have to see? Why don't they believe their own damn eyes??
Jeez.
Well, he was effectively suspended for 1 season + 6 games. Hopefully Goodell accepts it and moves on...
I honestly didn't realize he was still playing football.
Did he ever really? I mean really???
Settling is a tacit admission of guilt. Its also better for his career because if even one case stuck his career is likely over and he might be a registered sex offender.
I wish he was anywhere but cleveland honestly.
Settling is just an agreement that both sides like better than going to trial. There are so many considerations that go into settling, that you can't look at it as simple right vs wrong. Maybe Deshaun would pay more in legal fees to prove he did nothing wrong than he would pay in settlement. Maybe DW doesn't want this to drag out for years, because he wants to have a life. You could also equally say the plaintiff is settling because they know they have no case and are afraid of losing; otherwise they would go to trial and aim for the really big money.
Also, these are civil cases, not criminal, so there is no risk of being a registered sex offender.
Who the hell looks up to an NFL player?
Maybe for kids it's about looking up to an NFL player. For adults, it's the underlying moral theme that seeps into our psyche.
People don't understand that when you're in the public eye, you are held to a higher standard...because you become a role model. Like it or not. The young kids look up to them. They are being molded by what they see and experience. Now, guys can avoid this 'higher standard' thing. They can instead go work at Dunkin Donuts.
Exactly. But it's not just kids who are impacted by what they experience and how they process it. We all have to resolve the tensions with us. But many don't understand this and even worse, insist on denying what they don't understand.
On the 1st of April no less! ?
Unquestionably A.
But please don't use the term conviction. That confuses people into thinking there was a high standard to meet. The correct term is indictment. The Grand Jury indictment is THE EASIEST standard to meet of ALL legal proceedings. As someone eloquently put it, "you can indict a ham sandwich." The fact that a grand jury said their 12 strongest cases were baseless, speaks volumes.
Well the lawyer that's representing most of the women (Busbee) supposedly lives next door to McNair, and didn't know who he was.
Here's a quote right from horse's A$$ : “… I put up 10 billboards up around Houston asking my neighbor Mr. McNair [former Texans owner Bob McNair] to draft the greatest college football player ever,” Buzbee wrote in the caption. “Obviously, it didn’t happen.”
For those interested, here is documents from Watson's grand jury hearing:

I'm open to pursue a case against him if there's evidence to point in that direction, but from my own interpretation of facts presented, it seems like Watson is being railroaded by these women, and this seems to be a money grab.
Minor correction. That document is Watson's answer in one of the civil filings, not the grand jury.
