Sal Alosi will win DPOY. He hasn't missed a tackle all year.

@ballpeen said:Yep...and another good rule. A catch is a catch and a fumble is a fumble. Until the ball hits the ground, it isn't a fumble, thus the player making the fair catch should be allowed to complete the catch, even if it isn't pretty. Technically, it isnt a fumble, but rather a muff.... difference being you cannot advance a muff, but you can a fumble.

@the-gipper said:I suspect the Browns next QB will be Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson. At least for the 2010 year.

@hoorta said:The only reason I get POed at the Pro Bowl is stuff like this- not at the concept- it's the guys begging off because of phantom injuries. Brady- hey Steeler fan, what kind of owie is Ben suffering from, bruised ego? You can bet the farm if it was the SB on the line they both would be plenty healthy enough to play. I did a little searching and came up empty on this- did Dan Marino ever play in a Pro Bowl? Not sure, but I doubt it- one of the reasons I have no respect for the guy. reading comprehension. That is not the Pro Bowl rosters. That is Prisco's picks for who he thinks should make it. They reveal the pro bowl teams next week on the pro bowl selection show on ESPN.

Remember last year when around 19 0r 20 of the spots from the fan vote were Redskins? Hopefully once the plays and coaches get their say most of these guys should be out of the pro bowl completely - or atleast not a starter.

That would be pretty sweet to have one as a pet as long as you keep it inside during hunting season lol.

@ebenezer said:He has the stigma of loser on him, and it won't go away until he does. The stigma of a loser? Two winning seasons and a playoff appearance in NY? Beating Belichick in NE on national TV and Fisher in Tennessee (undefeated) the next week? 2-1 against Mike Tomlin? The stigma of losing is on the Browns organization....not the coach. BTW, the right not to be called a name that rhymes with xxxx should not have to be "earned" by anyone. It's a base and sophomoric play on a name to make you feel creative but really just serves to show how shallow you really are. Unfortunately, that's a stigma you can't wash off.

Nice, sorry i didn't get back to you on this been busy the last few days! Avatar looks good, thanks for being a good sport and keeping your word. I guess all steeler fans aren't that bad..

McKernan, who spent 30 years as Broncos' 'Barrel Man,' dies at 69 NFL.com Wire Reports David Zalubowski / Associated Press Tim McKernan, aka "Barrel Man," exhorted Broncos fans to root for their team. Relatives say Tim McKernan, the Denver Broncos fan known for wearing little more than a barrel at games, died of lung disease early Friday. He was 69. For 30 years, in all types of weather, McKernan donned a barrel and cheered on the Broncos, first at Mile High Stadium and then later at Invesco Field at Mile High. He retired from being the "Barrel Man" after the 2007 season. McKernan sold the barrel that he wore during Super Bowl XXXII for $30,000. It was autographed by 49 players and was sold to a Black Hawk casino. McKernan gave part of the proceeds to a battered women's shelter. The Broncos visit the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Associated Press contributed to this report http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true Man sees debt to Patriots' Brady for stolen planters repaid by stranger Associated Press BOSTON -- A convicted bank robber who says he had to panhandle to repay a debt to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has had his debt erased by a local businessman. Paiva was ordered by a court to pay $4,000 after selling Brady's expensive flower boxes for scrap metal, mistakenly believing they'd been put behind Brady's Boston condominium as trash in May 2008. Dan Greenwald, the owner of a Burlington ad agency, said he decided to pay the restitution after reading about Paiva's plight in the Boston Herald on Friday. Greenwald said it seemed as if Paiva, who says he can't work because of recent surgery, got "the rawest of raw deals." The 61-year-old Paiva said Greenwald's gift was like "a dream come true." @shepwrite said:Interesting, but they should probably confine it to teams with established players at all four key spots. It's tough to say that Mark Sanchez is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league before he takes a snap, or that Quinn ranks 27th with one healthy start under his belt and a 104 passer rating. Yes, thats one of the many problems ran into when trying to rank the players. From the looks of this, the Eagles and Pats have just average pass rushes. It doesn't take into account some teams get heavy pass rushes through a team effort. Not just a single top rusher.
