The Tribe Board

I’ll be rooting for them in the postseason. Thank goodness Ohio has one baseball team worth a darn.

oh well on to next year,I wonder who will run the team ?

@ibleedbrown said:Aww, l like the Cowboy, though he was much more fun with Marty in the booth. Marty had a knack for getting him sidetracked over food and next thing half the broadcast was about fried chicken and ice cream, haha.I like Sadak too. He gets a little excitable sometimes, but he has a knack for pulling pop culture references out of nowhere that l think is hilarious.for some reason always feel a lack of enthusiasm from emoh and God Bless Marty

Hats off Tribe, NOhio rulz. But lookout next year. Mua ha ha…

I know he didn’t quite work out in Cleveland, but we loved the guy in Cincy and we appreciate the trade. Some of his defensive highlights are the stuff of legend. The behind the back tosses, the nifty glove work, the barehand grabs and pirouette throws, just incredible. I may never see anything like it again on a diamond. It was incredible to witness in real time. He was like a Globetrotter with a baseball. I attended a game over Reds Hall of Fame weekend a few days ago and BP was inducted. Well deserved. Here’s some of those highlights.

Yes sir, AL player of the week. Sal Stewart of the Reds is the NL player of the week with his .700 BA. We call him the 3 mustache man. Check out those eyebrows. They’re basically mustaches over his eyes.

The dream is alive. The Reds stumbled in thanks to the Mets ineptitude. Tribe sealed their fate yesterday. Hecky yes.

Antonetti and a shit ton of scouts were at his Akron rehab game this week. I wonder if we go full on fire sale and deal Kwan too.  Fuck.

pfftt  why cant this happen to the cubs

1st Round pick (27 overall) from Texas A&M - Center Fielder and all time career home run leader even with one less season than the prior leader. His season this year was not as good as the prior year, but he will do very well in the Bigs after some time in AAA I'm betting.  EDIT: He also set career records with Walks (169) and Hit by Pitch (15). He also had a lot of strikeouts because opposing pitchers rarely threw him strikes unless by accident. With 2 of their top 3 hitters out all or most of the 2025 season, he felt pressure to reach a lot to help his struggling team this year. Before the 2025 season he was considered a top 3 pick in the draft. The Guardians were lucky to find him this late in the draft.

I figure this is something we can all celebrate. By my math 921 of those were with the Tribe, the most he got with any single team. I count 744 with Boston.

@ibleedbrown said: Total clickbait longshot but saw this posted. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/mlb-insider-names-two-cleveland-guardians-stars-as-trade-candidates/ar-AA1IlIX I might be down with this. With Kwan and Friedl batting at the top of the order and Elly soon behind, the Reds would be OBP machines.  Reds got a pretty good farm system right now with guys that a year or less away from the bigs. The trade would probably sting a little bit. yes, there is all kind of silly season time of year that comes across my screen, The Reds also have the 9th overall pick in this weekends draft.

Can’t hit , inconsistent bullpen.

David Blitzer, The owner of 25% of the Tribe has sold some of his ownership of the Utah soccer teams for $600 million. Hopefully, he will invest some of that cash on HITTING!!!! https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/44732641/real-salt-lake-utah-royals-sold-miller-family-jazz-600-million

@nickers said: Good maybe they'll sell the team and we'll get our name back.. I don't wish death on the man but he was a cheap asshole I feel the same way.   GO TRIBE
