Since when did you talk football?..all you talk about how great you think your current roster of steelers are..and you contribute nothing but rhetorical garbage...yeah...once in awhile like a blind squirrel you might post a half intelligent post once in a blue moon....Ask your own bretheren what a tool they think you are...I bet none of them have the balls to stand behind a prick head like you,or...Are too embarrassed to be associated with an educated loser like you...wipe that elitest smug off your face and quit acting like your more "knowledgable" and "better" than everyone else cuz your not...your opinions are worth exactly what mine and everyone elses is..it's worth 0...

I don't act like I'm better than anyone else. I just have a strong opinion and a firm one. I'd also happily back up my claims but hell all you have to do is watch football and you'd know a lot of the claims made around here are nuts. I'd also love for my own "brethren" to speak up if they think I'm a tool box. There aren't many, if any at all here anymore. Either way you should try contributing something worth while, rather than posting like the post above. A lot of name calling and zero substance.

You see this is where you get yourself in trouble,

You automatically assume because troy is the same height and similar weight that the sham is going to be the same guy. Troy was projected 1st the best safety in his draft, don't remember troy having concussion problems at cal but whatever, he was projected 1st overall and taken 1st at hios position. Sham was taken in the 4th because he is at his peak for body size and "has" a concussion problem. Also the steelers where desperate for a safety and didn't stay the course "Drafting the Steelers way" and panicked.. blew their load.. and made a desperate attempt at grabbing a safety, meanwhile getting older and trading away next years 3rd to the browns who will continue to stay young.

Also you project your missiles, and sledge hammer type players as the second coming of Christ and dismiss ours as unproven, because the steelers drafted them.

Fuck that. No one has taken a snap yet. You can't have it

    ee ways.

We have reminded you and repeatedly tried to show you that the steelers past few drafts have sucked. Take an objective look without using words like; shown glimpses of being good, some good upside, etc. Can you do it?

I never said he was going to be troy, what i did say wad troy is also small for a safety and it hasnt effected his game. You deduced the rest all on your own. The Steelers also werent "desperate" for a safety they just really wanted Thomas and apparently knew he wasnt going to last until their next pick. They re getting a third round comp for wallace next year, but even still they didnt trade that third for a aging veteran they traded it for a rookie so your point about age is bogus. They got the additional player this year rather than next. Simple math.

with out looking at the steelers depth chart who do they have? ryan clark? isn't he a free agent next year on a cap straped team?

Outside of Clark and Troy they have Robert Golden a promising second year and Shark Thomas. Plus DaMon-Cromartie Smith and I'm not 100% certain on Clark but everyone said they were cap strapped this season and they still went out and signed a few free agents and had enough to sign their draft picks. Willie Colon post draft also took around 5M off the books and I believe Polamalu is going to restructure. I'm also not worried at all about Clark leaving. He will retire a Steeler and if push comes to shove he'll be a home town discount kind of guy. Homer or not watch Shark Thomas tape. The guy is a damn missile/tackling machine. Just always around the ball.

Thomas has a chance to be a good NFL player and was a very good player in college. Absolutely horrific decision by that idiiot Lombardi to trade the Browns' pick to the Steelers. We're going to regret that. But this kind of stuff and these rotten decisions that made the Browns a crummy team for years. Other teams get the draft right. The Browns are inept at it.

Why do all of you dickheads think you know more about football than Mike Lombardi?

And since Joe Banner hired him I guess you think you know more about football than him too?

And why are you saddling an entirely new administration with past Browns failures?

These guys have absolutely nothing to do with what happened during the the lerner years. Nothing.

Endymion says you are the bat shit crazy one for thinking Ike Taylor is anything but a POS.

Your biggest problem is that you are living in LaLa Land by thinking that some players on your team are what they are not.

As someone said: everyone drafted has "promise". Mingo has promise/Jarvis Jones has promise. Thomas has promise, Leon McFadden has promise (I suppose you too think that San Diego St. is a basketball school)

I mean hell, they are talking about a kid in the 8th grade who has promise....and he has at least 7 more years of school before him:

After looking up your free agent signings, I personally wouldn't have even mentioned it, it looks like shit. They signed Bruce Gradkowski was that what you were talking about? I know they back loaded several contracts over the last several years, is this season when the dam breaks?

Didn't he break a bone in his ankle or foot last year that had to have slowed him up some. I know when cribbs dislocated his toes it slowed him up the following year.

They rarely sign big ticket free agents. However i was happy to get gradkowski as he will be better than batch and leftwich and spaeth is exceptional blocking and has solid hands. Gay also came cheap from arizona and he is a great nickel corner. I was sad to see him go the first time. Bottom line they had the moneybto sign guys and didnt lose anyone they didnt want too. They didnt even offer lewis a contract and wallace outstayed his welcome. Terrible attitude last year.
