@mudfly said:Just heard Callahan is going to Washington and Linehan is staying in Dallas....so take Callahan off the list.... Yup... and never really thought Linehan would be available. C'mon Cavanaugh...

@b86b said:Just got my renewal letter today and I was one of the people to get moved out of the Upper Dawg Pound due to renovations.. they offered me sect 540, pretty sure thats no where near where I had my tickets!! Anyone else get moved?? I started a similar topic earlier when the same thing happened to me got moved from 344 to 505 http://thebrownsboard.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28651

I like the helmet, but the flag is a little big. Otherwise i especially hate the numbers. They look just plain dumb. Nike has to drastically redesign the jerseys so all the kids go out and buy the new ones because the old ones don't have enough swag or whatever dumb term they're using these days.

@shep said: Browns didn't get any worse (any jamoke can give you 3.3 yards a carry) while adding another first round pick for next year? And somebody's pissed about that? Highway robbery. And yes, Weeden is gone and perhaps Sheard if it's needed to get us to Bridgewater. And yes, the Browns will then be more attractive to free agent WRs. And yes, we'll upgrade at RG and cornerback. And yes, that team will make WAY more architectural sense than this one. There's no way Trent learns the game in the next 8-10 years he's in the league, and starts finding his holes? We traded him for a 35% chance we find a 4 year starter let alone a star.

This is the funniest thread ever.... I wasted almost two hours going through it while the drilling rig was down at work and I had nothing to do.... Classic.

@b86b said: Cuz we all gonna eat!!! Sux knowing that Horton will only be here a year or two.. Lou Cioffi, our DB coach came over with Horton, so he has been in the system for several years. He might be a candidate to take over when Horton gets his head coaching call.

@harry-buffalo said: Your best bet is going to be watching Oakland team highlight tapes and finding plays he is in. Otherwise your just going to be finding a lot of Dez Bryant videos. I might look into making a highlight tape for our new FA today and tomorrow, kind of bored right now. I'll get back to you if I end up taking the time to do it. That would be really awesome.

no one thought Ponder would go 12...If Barkley and Wilson have a good 2 months they will be hot commodities, wouldn't be surprised at all if there is a run on 4-5 QB in the top of the draft. Teams are desperate when it comes to QBs and it could pay off nicely for us..

@kosar_for_president said: They can really make a run man, you know. You know the key, Jimenez. I think Tito can turn him around. I'm excited this year, it's been a while. they didnt have one starter with a winning record last year and the team was still above .500 and in contention going into the 2nd half of the season. No way that happens again, I think this team has a shot at 90-95 wins. We only have to get to the 6th with the lead and most games will be over.Im predicting Kazmir to surprise a lot of people this year.

Look at the By Play Direction stats. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/splits/_/id/14878/brandon-weeden Where does Shurmur go to try and get a first down throwing the ball? Right Sideline. Notice Weeden's home vs away stats. Maybe that is why he looks as bad. I would fault Shurmur for his lack of production and growth. Shurmur needs to go.

I would say Norwood cause there were around 4 close balls thrown to him that were well defended and you would expect any decent WR to come away with at least one or two of those balls. Didn't catch one of them. I just don't see how Cooper is any worse than this guy. I see Cooper making a few of those catches. Time to call him up, especially with Cribbs out.

@reginabrownsfan said: Trent is a beast! Can't wait to see him run over polamalu! Hes gonna need to be a beast, poor guy is gonna see nothing but 8 & 9 man fronts..Hope he survives his rookie season

Not sure what they'll do in the labor negotiations, but you better believe that the owners are not going to let things continue the way they are going. As for the Cavs...I like what Irving seems to be but I am not sure about how proven he really is...He only managed to play 11 games in his only year in college. Not sure I want damaged goods with that first pick? I would like to see Williams and Kanter with the 1 & 4 and then take a guy like Cole, Lee, or Joseph with their first pick in the 2nd round. That would address needs and also would set up a young PG behind Sessions and/or Davis. Then you still got the OKC's pick in the 2nd round to take a chance on a playmaker late that might provid depth.

@hoorta said: Well, if you were listening to the draft today- the reason why Bowers fell all the way to #51 is the medical report says he's going to need more surgery on the knee sooner or later-and probably sooner- and it's the dreaded microfracture surgery that pretty much ended Courtney Brown's career. Well, if the Patriots didn't want Bowers, neither should we. I think Heckert learned his lesson about fan reaction on taking medical risks last year. I am aware of that. Thats why I said there was a high risk/high reward with him. If he didn't need the surgery he would just be high reward in the second round he also wouldn't have been sitting there in round 2.

I wouldn't be against it because if we traded back around 5-8 spots there would still be one of these top guys available at CB or DE.
