In again. Shooting for better results

Last Call for the owners of these teams from last year: BobMulchaf Team Whoop Ass Smoken Weeden ahitz3 Harry Buffalo Pop N Fresh And my favorite team name from last year.. Holmgren Haterz Your invite was emailed to the email you provided last year. You have until tomorrow to sign up or you will have to fight it out with everybody else on the board who still may want a spot. I moved over to league IV this year.

The whole story I saw is stupid. I am for gay rights and all, but this dude sucked pure and simple. Yahoo is making it like he was cut because of his views. Typical example of the media shoving the issues in your face.

I'm against all the safety stuff.. I like the NFL I grew up with. Protect them with equipment the best you can, pay them very well, and turn them loose! Z

What's the ideal outcome in this situation - the RB slides at the defender's feet, and then kicks at the oncoming linebacker's groin like Brady?

@the-gipper said: Mallet can stay the third or 4th stringer in NE. If NE proposes to bring back Cassell that means that he has learned that Mallet is dumber than a box of rocks and any attempts to trade him are just their way of trying to find a fish stupid enough to swallow the bait. The question is: is Lombardi that fish. Of course he is.

@browns57 said: It will depend on how good his workouts go and who is paying attention. Most likely he will be a Undrafted Free Agent. But This class is short on QB's and the FA options aren't any better. Do you want David Gerard, or Eric Carr, or do you want to take a shot on a 24 year old with your 7th round pick or convince him to come in after the draft. Either way the Browns should be paying attention and looking for a QB on the cheap like this. If they took this kid and he pans out you just hit the lottery. If not what did you really lose. Without the off the field issues this kid is a 4 year starter at Virginia. If so we are most likely talking a first or second round pick. He started as a true freshman. Well, the Ravens took Flacco out of Delaware- if the Browns think the guy has a shot, why not? 7th round picks usually don't make it in the NFL anyway.

@nickers said: Yes , Because Marty is a fool that tried to use the prevent defense....it prevented championships...of wich 90% of NFL coaches have no idea when to use it properly. Butch Davis lost a playoff game because he had a 17 point lead and went to the prevent in the middle of the third quarter....against the wishes of his DC.

@sisky-fringo said: ( ^^^^^^ reads "he was a gawd damn rookie fer krist sake!") Weedz will be just fine. i'm thinkin it's about time for another orange jersey...and a Dawson, Thomas, D'qwell etc etc. found em for $21.59 free ship if i get ten or more (!). nike "official" stitched and everything >> hell at that price i won't even have to repeat one all year. hahaha!! yeah i don't think that's an official jersey for $21.59 Are you sure it don't say nikie on it?

@browns149 said: He's got to get in line right behind Shurmer. Shurmer is way worse then Romeo Shurmur seems to have the Browns prepared for games. The "coaching" aspect doesn't seem to be that bad. His major downfall is having no balls to go for it on 4th down and he has to have the worst time management skills of any coach I have ever seen..

Kathy must be talking about another league League 5 starts in 10 min. at 5pm EST

Smith is cut if Schwartz doesn't continue to show improvement. Smoth's only asset was his blocking ability, and if it turns out we do have actual bookend tackles, Smith will no longer be needed. Copper might make it based solely on the fact he can catch the ball all the time, a la Joe J. Mitchell has to be done, there's no way he isn't. We have enough 6'3 receivers who can't catch.

Lol....yeah....damned mangini for his lame duck gm, and one bad draft. By far the worst ever in Cleveland Yall are getting dumber...in general.

This guy breathes class. Was he a great reciever, no. Was the WildDawg successful, it wasn't only because we used it all wrong, so no fault to Cribbs. What he brings that superstar players could learn, is the ability to go out and do his job no matter what it is and keep his focus on the positives not the negatives. I hope we can keep him and he retires a Brown. One thing is for sure, he is ELECTRIC on special teams, so it says volumes that they feel him best utilized in that manner. Gives me hope that this team may finally be on the right course. Now lets hope the new owner is intelligent enough to be able to strengthen this team not tear it down for another pointless rebuild.

I've got Mike Wallace, Steve Smith, Pierre Garcon, Robert Meachem, and Reggie Wayne. I'm thinking Wallace and Smith are locks, but I have no idea who to put in for my 3wr. Meachem's got the best matchup on paper, but had a quiet preseason. Indy's going against Chicago, so that makes me want to say no to Wayne. Garcon is up against New Orleans. Any thoughts?

Here is the schedule for the Browns My link

@irish said: Would love Dwayne Bowe but he's going somewhere that has a solid QB. Colt can't get it done. sign Colsten, Mathis, and maybe a bandaid RB. Draft CB, RT, and a Saftey (Possibly a compitition QB like Keenum or Cousins) And run with it

@clevelandmilidh said: I don't think he was ever a pro-bowler, the last I can remember is Jamir Miller in 2001. There has to be someone else since then I'm forgetting? I can't believe it's been 10 years since he played.
