You know what's funny? I actually watched that crappy Dallas reality show with Michael Irvin where they were giving a bunch of no-name guys tryouts via a reality show cut every week. Hawkins I think made it to the final two or three, but didn't win the show. But if I remember correctly, he was the one that I routed for the entire show. So kinda neat that I get to route for him with real football now!

Bout what he should have gone for. Wouldnt even come close to calling it a steal. Worth a chance, yes, depends on what you are trying to get him for. If you need a returner than this it is a good deal. If you are expecting him to be a receiver then probably wont work out very well. Ginn is not an NFL caliber reciever. You might be able to put him on the field a few downs and run the deep ball and use him as a gimmick guy but as a true reciever he is a liability. He has always been an athlete with raw receiving skills that never amounted to much. Glad we passed. I think our front office knows as far as ginn the receiver goes we can do a lot better! Now if we needed a returner then yes he would be worth a 5th but we obviously dont need that.
